Warden volunteers Carole and Martin visited Milton Locks nature reserve last Thursday and have sent in some lovely photos of their visit. Brent geese are a wonderful part of the backdrop of eastern Portsmouth in the winter and Milton’s hidden seashore is certainly no exception.
Brent Geese are winter visitors to this part of the world and will soon be flying north for the breeding season.
The skeletal trees close to the entrance will soon be springing to life. Visit the reserve soon to enjoy the last flavours of winter.
Thanks Carole and Martin for the photos!
