  1. Hi Jess, I enjoyed your talk and was intrigued and a little bit overawed when you told us about “The Milton Monster” a huge sea slater the size of your palm! Any chance of a picture? I would love to see one like that, all the guide books I have consulted give a size in the region of up to 30mm long for this isopod? Where exactly did you encounter this beast? Best wishes, Bill

    Thank you for your interest and your comment. Sadly we didn’t get a picture. I had a class of school children to herd at the time. 🙂 I will be there again towards the end of this week so if I do find another one, I will post a picture. It was found at low tide under a bit of brick on the shore. Thanks again and hopefully I will find the Milton Monster again. Jess
